SD Cards are compact portable flash memory cards which are used to expand the storage space of your device to store your data.

As much as useful and powerful these cards are, sometimes, due to carelessness, accumulation of bad sectors, manufacturing defects,  internal computer issues or viruses, these storage cards  get corrupted.

Since there is a pandemic happening out there in the world, we need to find some easy user solvable methods to rectify the issue in order to stay safe and be protected. If you’re having any other problems with your Laptop you can visit Asus Service Center in Navi Mumbai to fix your Laptop.

Now, there are two ways:

  • Formatting corrupted card (in case of backup data available)

FORMATTING: (IN CASE OF BACKUP DATA AVAILABLE):

Now, this method is followed when your data is already backed up and you just want to start reusing it as a fresh storage medium.

The steps for formatting are as follows:

  • Connect your card to your PC.

  • Start Formatting

This method will ensure that your data is completely erased. But this will ensure that you can restart storing data.  Simpler methods are available in your Android phones too.
