A bowler is the player who throws the ball towards the batsman in order to make a catch out, run out or stump out. He propels the ball with such efficiency so the opponents make the least score. This in turn makes victory an easy target for the bowling team. The position of the bowler is critical. Alzarri Joseph

Alzarri Shaheim Joseph is a West Indies cricket player. He has scored the best spell to be bowled ever in the history of Indian Premier League when in 2019, he took 6 wickets against 12 runs while playing opponents to Sunrisers Hyderabad. This 2019 match has marked the hearts of everyone as Sunrisers Hyderabad could not stay put for long in front of Alzarri’s legendary bowling. They ended up losing the match by 40 runs. 

Sohail Tanveer

Sohail Tanvir is a Pakistani cricket player. He is a left arm medium fast bowler. During the 2008 Indian Premier League, he was playing against Chennai Super Kings and took 6 wickets against 14 runs. As a token to his bowling, his team, the Royal, won the match by 8 wickets in 14.2 overs. On the other hand, the Chennai Super Kings lost the match even by batting first and making a total of 109 runs.

Anil Kumble has been one of the best Indian bowlers and Indian cricket coach. He is the only player in the history of Indian players to win the most number of test matches. Against Rajasthan Royals, the defending champions, he led the Royal Challengers Bangalore to a 75 run victory after only bowling for 3.1 overs. The Rajasthan team got the lowest total in the inning and the second bottom score in the history of IPL which was 54 runs against 134 runs.

Ishant Sharma is an Indian bowler to be reckoned with. His technique and style doesn’t let a batsman stay firm and confident for long on the pitch. In 2011, while playing against Kochi Tuskers Kerala, he was playing for Deccan Charger and completed with 5/12.
